How's it going, guys? I just recorded a half-hour-long video, and then it didn't record the correct screen. So I'm a little frustrated. But I will claim advantage here, as we teach, and know that this will be for the best. 

My Experience

What I'm going to be doing here is just teaching you how I use Power Automate. I have been using Winautomation for about nine years, the precursor to Power Automate. And it has saved me so much time. 

Actions

On the left are the actions. There are a million actions. You can drop down all of these, and they have everything you can do on a computer. Power Automate can automate anything you can do on a computer.

Using PowerAutomate for YouTube, Blog, and Podcast Posting

I have created a flow that allows me to better record these videos and SEO them more quickly. Search Engine Optimize, edit, export, and post the videos while cutting down to about half the time, if not less than that. 

So that is going to speed up my efficiency significantly, and that's what computers are for in the first place, and that's why we have computer programs like Power Automate now. 

PowerAutomate Cost vs. WinAutomation

Luckily this comes free with Windows 11. I, in the past, have paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the precursor program to this called Winautomation. So now it comes free, and I'm happy that everyone can use this program without the huge upfront cost. I, in the past, have run my entire music lessons business with Winautomation. We had 100 students and 15 teachers, and Winautmation made all the administrative work about ten times easier than manually doing it. 

I would need to run payroll, make sure that everyone was following procedures, the scheduling was correct, and if anything were wrong, I would need to follow different processes. So I have made very complicated manual systems into one streamlined semi-automatic process. 

I will make follow-up videos to show how I've improved my YouTube, podcast, and blog, Power Automate Bot.

Power Automate has sub-flows, which are equivalent to functions. Then you have your main screen as one of the flows. 

The Pre-SEO sub-flow contains all of my work to research my keywords and titles before ever recording.

Then I have the editing sub-flow, which helps me streamline my editing. 

The export sub-flow helps with the export and the posting sub-flow with the posting process. 

I will make more videos about how I use this, and I'm not going to go into the details again as I did in the past half-hour video. 

I just wanted to quickly make you aware of how I use Power Automate and how awesome it has been in my life. This blog is somewhat of a testimonial.
